Important Note: Due to the nuances of HTML, it’s crucial that any person copying, adjusting, or writing HTML code is formidably experienced with HTML coding because we do not offer direct support for customer-created code.
The HTML block allows you to easily add your own HTML code to your campaigns so you can further customize the look of your campaigns.
To add an HTML block to your campaign, simply drag the HTML block from the editor panel on the right and drop it into your desired spot. Like all of the blocks, it can be positioned alone, with other HTML content items, or mixed with other types of content.
Once added, the content properties will load in the editor panel on the right with some default placeholder text.
Write (or copy and paste) your own HTML code directly into the editing area. To help make your HTML code more readable, the system will highlight your syntax and indent your code as needed. Just remember that any changes made will be automatically saved every 60 seconds while using the drag and drop editor.
In addition, the HTML content in the block will automatically correct some issues like HTML tags that are left open, and strip out code that cannot be used, such as script tags or iframe tags. We do this because those types of code tags are not allowed by most email clients, and can cause deliverability problems or security risks for the editor on the applications that run it.
