The icons block in the drag and drop editor allows you to build your own icon collection that you can access anytime you create a campaign. While it has a similar look and functionality to the social block, the difference between the two blocks is that the icons block lets you access your image library to upload your own images to use for your icons which also gives you access to the image editor.
To get started, from an open campaign drag the icons block into your template and drop it into the desired spot.
You’ll see the content properties for the icons block appear in the editor panel on the right.
Under the content properties section of the editor, click on Add new icon to add the first icon of your collection.
After you have added at least one icon, you can click on Change image to select a different image from your library or to upload a new one.
You can also click on Apply effects & more to open up the image editor where you can adjust the look of the icon in a number of ways. Once the image editor is open, you will find the same selections for editing the icon as you do any other image.
Whenever you add a new icon to your collection, there will be a toggle for More options. Toggle it on to add more elements to your icon and you’ll see the URL for the icon and then you can add alternative text, determine the placement, apply effects, and more.
You can repeat this process until you complete your icon collection, or add them as you build each new campaign. If you need to reorder the collection, simply drag the icon box in the content properties area to the desired location.
Additional icon styling options
When you scroll down past your icons in the editor sidebar, you will see the properties that are specific to your icon. You can adjust the font family, font size, text color, alignment, letter spacing, as well as the icon size, spacing, and padding. Below that, you can adjust the overall block padding and select to hide the icons block on desktop or mobile.
If you’d like to duplicate or delete an icon, just click on the content block and those options will appear just below the block.
