Ⓘ Available to HQ, Essentials, Teams, and Corporate accounts
Designed to work like an internal email marketing barometer that easily keeps you informed, your tiered account dashboard features an at-a-glance view of your subaccounts’ mailing engagement and audience growth. If you have a Plus or Lite account, then please refer to this article.
How to access the dashboard
When the account Parent or a Manager user logs in, they will be automatically directed to the dashboard. When working in the parent account, you can always return to the dashboard by clicking on the Dashboard section in the top navigation menu. When working in a subaccount, click on the house icon in the upper right corner of your screen and select Dashboard from the dropdown menu to return to the dashboard.
Subaccount performance activity
Upon logging in to a tiered account as a Parent or Manager, you will see three cards that detail your subaccounts’ performance activity; one for Mailing engagement, one for Audience growth, and one that features the Top mailing from one of your subaccounts. We’ll go over the details of each below.
Mailing engagement
The first card on the left features data from a rolling four-week period in a graph outlining your subaccounts’ aggregate click rate for each week. Underneath the graph, you’ll find the total number of individual emails sent, the number of campaigns sent, and the overall click rate average for the period.
When enough data has been gathered, you’ll also find a star highlighting the top-performing subaccount that had the highest click rate over the four-week period. Click on View more insights to see a more detailed account of the card data.
Audience growth
The Audience growth card is all about the new contacts added in your subaccounts. You’ll see a graph with five data points representing a rolling four week-period of aggregate contact counts. Underneath that, the net count of either gained or lost contacts is listed along with the starting and ending contact counts for the time period. Click on View more insights to see a more detailed account of the card data. Additionally, the top-performing subaccount that added the most contacts during the four-week period is highlighted.
If your account is billed by unique contact count, this card will not display audience growth based on unique contacts added.
Top mailing
The final card will display a mailing from your subaccounts, sent to at least 100 recipients, with the highest click rate over the past 30 days. You’ll see the mailing name and subject line, the subaccount name, the number of total recipients, the click rate, and the opt-out rate associated with the mailing.
Mailing activity grid
Beneath the cards, you’ll also see a grid that shows all pending approval, scheduled, and sent mailings for your subaccounts. Pending approval mailings will always appear at the top of your list, to ensure you can quickly locate campaigns that need attention. Both the pending approval mailings and scheduled mailings will be sorted from oldest send date to newest send date, while sent mailings will be sorted by latest send to oldest send.
The mailing grid will include columns for subaccount name, campaign subject line, mailing score, clicks, audience, status, and scheduled to send info. These columns can be sorted as needed. You can also use the search bar to search by subaccount name or mailing name. Or, you can use the dropdowns that allow for viewing certain subaccounts, or specific mailing statuses (pending approval, scheduled, sent).
If you’d like, you can also switch to view the grid as a calendar instead by clicking on the calendar icon next to the search bar. For more information about the marketing calendar, please refer to this article.
Account limit warning message
Should you near your account contact limit, you will receive a warning banner across the top of your dashboard. As a courtesy, the warning is triggered if you have exceeded 90% of your account limit. However, the warning will only appear to account to Parents and Managers with billing access.
How to review campaigns in bulk
As an account Parent or Manager, you can review campaigns sent by Editors and Authors in bulk. Within the approvals dashboard, Parents and Managers can select Review pending mailings to access the Pending mailings dashboard. In the Pending mailings dashboard, Parent and Manager users can select multiple pending mailings and then click on the Approve all button. This tab also includes additional information about the campaigns’ created and last edited dates, as well as the submission and schedule dates.
It can take up to 10 minutes for approval changes to be reflected on the homepage. It takes approximately 0.5 seconds per mailing to be approved.
