How to add a signup form to a landing page
If you want to make the most of your landing page, it’s a best practice to set it up to garner new contacts from visitors by adding a signup form. To do this, you’ll first need to get the signup form’s iframe code from your account. If you do not wish to add a signup form, you can skip this section and continue to the section about publishing your page.
- Navigate to your Audience tab.
- Click on the Forms section in the panel on the left.
- Click on the dropdown arrow that corresponds to the desired form.
- Select Add to your site from the list.
- In the pop-up window that appears, click on the iframe tab and copy the code.
- Return to your landing page draft.
- Click on the HTML block icon in the left panel and drag it over to your landing page.
- As you drag the block over to your landing page, you will see yellow sections appear labeled Drop here. These yellow drop spots will turn green as you hover over them, so you know where the content block will appear on the page.
- Once you release the block, it will appear in the place you designated.
- Hover over the block to reveal the yellow editor bar.
- Click on the Edit HTML button.
- Paste the form code directly into the editing area.
- Click on the Save button.
How to publish a landing page
Once you’re satisfied with your landing page, follow these steps to publish it:
- Click on the Publish button.
- In the pop-up window that appears, enter an official title for the page. This title is public-facing – it’s what search engines and page visitors will see, so be thoughtful when deciding on a title. In accordance with best practices for search engine optimization (SEO), it’s suggested you keep this page title to 50 characters or less.
- Click on the Publish button.
After you publish the page, you’ll be given its unique URL, which you can link to in your email campaigns. To further brand the landing page, you can also customize your URL and pair it with your domain.
