Plus: Account Roles and Permissions

This article explains the roles and access that can be assigned to users of Plus accounts.

Plus Account Overview

Plus is a legacy standalone account package, which is no longer sold. Existing Plus accounts may have access to different features, depending on their particular package.

Role and Permission Details

Plus accounts have access to five role types: Administrator, Full, Editor, Author, and Response Only. An account must have at least one Administrator user, but can have more. Certain roles have optional permissions that can be toggled on or off.

Administrator All areas of the account including:

  • All tabs: Audience, Campaigns, Response, Automation, Insights
  • All account settings
  • Billing
  • Generate API keys
  • Purge archived items
  • Add and edit users
  • Audience Connect
  • Export contacts
  • Integrations
  • Edit other Administrators
Full
  • All tabs: Audience, Campaigns, Response, Automation, Insights
  • Audience Connect (can view but not interact)
  • Billing*
  • Export contacts*
  • Generate API keys
  • Purge archived items
  • Add and edit users
Editor
  • Audience, Campaigns, Response, and Insights tabs
  • Can create, but not send, mailings
  • Billing*
  • Export contacts*
  • Generate API keys
  • Purge archived items
  • Automation tab
  • Add and edit users
Author
  • Campaigns, Response, and Insights tabs
  • Can create, but not send, mailings
  • Generate API keys
  • Purge archived items
  • Audience tab
  • Export contacts
  • Billing
  • Automation tab
  • Add and edit users
Response Only
  • Response tab
  • All other areas of account
  • Export contacts
  • Billing

*Indicates an optional permission that can be toggled on by the Administrator.
