With the Icons block, you can build your own collection of icons, which you can access anytime you create a campaign. While it looks somewhat similar to the Social block, the Icons block lets you access your image library to upload your own images to use as icons.
How to use the Icons block
- Navigate to your Campaigns tab.
- Open a saved drag and drop draft or click on the Create new campaign button to create a new campaign from scratch.
- Click on the Icons block in the right panel and drag it to the desired location in your mailing.
- Click on the block to open the Content properties panel.
- Click on the Add new icon button to add a default icon.
- To customize your icon, click on the Change image button and select an image from your library.
How to edit icons
To edit an icon, click on the Apply effects button in the panel on the right. This will open the same editor that you use to edit images. For a detailed description of each tool, please refer to this article.
You can also click on the More options toggle to adjust the alt text, icon text, link type, URL, and link target. Below the Add new icon button, there are settings to adjust font family, weight, size, and color, as well as text alignment and letter spacing. Further down, there are settings to adjust the icon size, spacing, and padding; click on the More options toggle to adjust the padding for each side of the icon individually. Finally, at the very bottom, there are options to adjust the whole block’s padding (again, click on the More options toggle to adjust the padding for each side of the block individually) and to hide the block on desktop or mobile.
How to delete and re-order icons
To delete an icon, click on the Delete link for that icon in the Content properties panel on the right. You can delete the whole block by clicking on the trashcan icon in the blue toolbar that appears above or below the block when selected.
To re-order your icons, click on the set of four lines to the left of the icon in the Content properties panel and drag the icon up or down.

Accounts that were created after this change only have access to the new drag and drop editor. Please refer to our new editor FAQ article for more information.
